If someone ever asks you to go to la Chingada (i.e. “vete a la chingada”), something that happens to some of us quite often, at least now you know where to go. Informed sources tell me this bodega is somewhere in Alvarado, Veracruz.

What a more romantic place than this one? Alvarado is a town, a village or a region?

Re. Pierre: is “chingón”…
Finally! At least now I know where to head to!
Alvarado is a village in the state of Veracruz, a little to the south of the capital city of Veracruz. Alvarado has a long time reputation of being a place where formerly called “malas palabras” were used more openly than in the highlands. In fact, most coastal towns in Mexico are the same as Alvarado in that, but somehow Alvarado made it a distinctive thing and they discovered that it pays, so now they exagerate quite a bit on that to the delight and amusement of tourist from highlands. To have a shop called La Chingada, looks very normal in Alvarado. But the true is that Mexico has changed a lot and now the younger generation speaks as in Alvarado 20 years ago. I think this is a good thing. Unfortunately lenguage censorship is still kept tight in TV. Not so much in Radio and newspapers.
Nice blog I just found.
